Disclaimer: Due dates are estimates. Fewer than 5% of babies are born on their exact due date. Consult your healthcare provider for medical guidance.
Pregnancy Due Date Calculator estimates your due date via last menstrual period (Naegele's rule with cycle adjustment), conception date, or IVF transfer date, and shows your current trimester and key milestones.
Pregnancy Due Date Calculator is a high-performance utility designed to help users streamline their workflow. Built with modern web technologies, it ensures fast processing times and high-quality outputs directly in your browser.
LMP method: Naegele's rule adds 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of the last menstrual period, then adjusts by (cycle length − 28) days. Conception method: adds 266 days (38 weeks) to the estimated conception date. IVF method: adds 263 days (Day 3 transfer) or 261 days (Day 5 blastocyst). Due date is an estimate; confirm with your OB/GYN or midwife.
The standard method (Naegele's Rule) adds 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of your last menstrual period. For cycles other than 28 days, the formula adjusts by the difference from 28.
Only about 5% of babies are born on their exact due date. About 80% are born within 2 weeks of the EDD. Early ultrasound (6–12 weeks) is more accurate than LMP-based calculation alone.
First trimester: Weeks 1–13. Second trimester: Weeks 14–27. Third trimester: Weeks 28–40. Full term is considered Weeks 39–40.
For IVF, the due date is calculated from the egg retrieval date plus embryo age at transfer. A Day 5 (blastocyst) transfer: retrieval + 266 days. A Day 3 transfer: retrieval + 268 days.
